Based in Toronto, Canada, Zedtone is an independent record company, the home of Los Angeles chanteuse Eleni Mandell. As Rob Walker wrote in Slate: “Mandell is a rare and genuine talent who, as it happens, still hasn't been put under contract by a music conglomerate, and her career says a lot about the pros and cons of working outside, or at least on the fringes of, the major-label system.” Zedtone is proud to have produced six CDs by Eleni, who is indeed a rare and genuine talent.
